        Funny that you mention it - I got distracted by a message from someone on another forum offering me seeds for;
        Digitalis ferruguinea..............

        [IMG]

        and Digitalis obscura "Dusky Maid"

        [IMG]

        Should go well with the D.lanata that are germinating at the moment...............

        [IMG]

        and the D.parviflora too............

            The D lutea selfseeds easily in my garden. I'd rather have the D ferruginea though. Or the the bog standard foxglove, that takes some beating.

              I've got plenty of self-seeded foxgloves around the garden again this year, all purpurea,
              but this one looks a little different to the rest.
              It looks like a white/cream version of purpurea, but the flowers grow out from the stem almost horizontally rather than drooping down, and are more widely spaced. It's also rather shorter than purpurea, being only about 2ft tall.
              So is this some kind of hybrid, or a completely different variety which has somehow appeared in my garden?

                Could be a anyone of those Trunky but you often get quite a bit of natural variation with foxgloves I've often come across white and peach coloured ones on my travels
