    Clara, Salvia gregii Lara(pink) wilted and collapsed a week later. I took a piccie and emailed Hayloft. They were very understanding and said they would send a replacement. They did, it came today:dancy: . A lovely,fresh moist rooted plug which looks very healthy. I will pot it up in the morning and let it settle for a few weeks. (I think I overwatered the first one to be honest), all the others are fine and are in situ. I hope to show piccie progress later in Summer.
    Y es, an exciting little package awaited me when I got home this afternoon,:)

      What a pity, Jenny! Hope the replacement fares better. Sometimes things do go wrong with living things, however much care is taken. And small plants are particularly vulnerable. I bought an ivory coloured dwarf buddleja in the T and M sale last year. Usually, they are pretty tough plants. But I just couldn't get it to thrive. I think the time of year didn't help. I've just got a replacement and, fingers crossed, it looks much more promising.

      Good luck Clara,
      it's not through want of love that our little things don't make it. Let's hope the summer is kind to yours and mine,

      Also in the shot are;
      a young Abutilon from seed,
      Roscoea scillifolia just poking through,
      My bowl of Pleiones that took a frost and look rather poorly!

        The little salvias look really good Keith. I love the way they suddenly "take off" when they've a mind to don't you?

          Despite the pants weather most are taking off now. "Wendys Wish" is in bud, and the common garden sage is in full bloom too.............

                You're a bad man! That is a really good site! I fear the plastic may take a hammering before the day is out!

                  I aim to please :loll:, I've still not had a chance to look through everything they have, but they've got some unusual stuff that's for sure.

                  Great customer service too, the seeds I have ordered from them come very quickly and are well packed with plenty of info...:dbgrtmb:
