    Just want to say happy fathers day to you all, this is the first fathers day without my dad so I will wish you all a nice day

        sparra, I agree, its not nice, but time does help (it never completely heals) I will see my dad later (His headstone, anyway)

            It's nice to get a card etc. from the kids, but I got a phone call from my 3yr old Grandson this morning, wishing me Happy Fathers Day - that takes a bit of beating:dancy:

                I lost my dad 24 years ago when he was 47, takes a while but it gets easier. Been spoiled all day by my beautiful son and fantastic wife. We're meeting up with the in laws a bit later for a meal and a few drinks just to top the day off.
