Although I like many other countries - especially Portugal - I, also, prefer the UK and Shineyland in particular :) . Shineyland has its own micro-climate which tends to be portable when we go away :heehee:.

Yesterday was warm with intermittent sunshine. Today started off sunny but it has got a bit dull and breezy. I'm sure it will brighten up later. Our forecast for the weekend is good :dbgrtmb:

After a very windy day yesterday, it is still too windy out there for my liking. The garden flowers look weary of it too. I am sitting indoors with a velour hoodie on !!
And my hands are cold - aaaarrrrrgggghhhh!!

High winds, grey, garden windswept and it feels like winter, got a big jumper on indoors, would put the CH but off out, a lot warmer in the car anyway.
I'm starting to find it all a bit depressing ...

Hope you've cheered up a bit Jenny. I did a bit of ye olde retail therapy and also it is Friday and football is on (not necesarily a good thing for some, I know) and I'm doing a spicy mediterranean spanish meal tonight, topped off with a bottle of rioja.

There is a veritable hurricane going on out there, so tiresome, so the new black it seems.

I've just text a friend who is visiting this evening and asked if she wants me to send a boat. :heehee: I haven't even been out to retrieve the dustbin that was emptied this morning.
