    I've got bored with photobucket and I've decided I'd rather pay to have a flickr account so I've decided to finally get around to naming all the plants in the photo's :oops:

      5 comes from the Atlas Mts. but I am blowed if I can remember the name.

          hmmm I think on from Silver Surfers ID perhaps Correa reflexa? and Clivia miniata?

            The pink purslane grows in one of the gardens I work in, an old farmhouse garden. It is very attractive but spreads everywhere, including the neighbouring country lanes so I wouldn't recommend it. I do allow it to flower but not to set seed.

            I am surprised nobody has noticed SS's deliberate mistake as no 3 is not Pointsettia.

            It is Euphorbia mellifera, a lovely architectural plant that smells of honey when it flowers in April/May.

              You are probably correct scillonian, bearing in mind pic was taken on the Isle of Wight. I thought when I posted it was maybe Madeira.!
              Normally Euphorbia mellifera look healthier than that specimen.

                The photo does have a very mediterranean (or madeiran) look about it SS.
                This specimen is a bit past its best, I agree, hopefully there will be young seedlings around to take it's place it does self seed well.
