age, i must be getting old.

Just come back from well known supermarket that is up the road, only went to get some biscuits (corner shop doesn't sell these ones)
While I was there I got a T shirt, pre made sandwich (wrong one) for OH, and a bottle of something. Got home, and what do I not have? yes, the biscuits, and the bottle of something was not that urgent.
Am I getting old that I forget?

 

I love using 'old age' as an excuse for forgetfulness (even though I'm still in my 30s).

I seem to remember I was quite forgetful as a kid

Nope - you were successfully "caught" by deviously clever marketing.They are no doubt still open and they would LOVE you to go back in for those biscuits.
I must admit that I now write little lists and leave them on the table with a pen handy.That way I'm more likely to get what I intended to get.
Heaven help me if I forget the list though. Mind goes completely blank - I can't remember a thing.

 

It gets worse you know! Dirty forks in the fridge instead of the dishwasher. Walk from one side of the kitchen to the other.......now what was it I wanted? I've also gone out with the bottom of my jeans rolled up, which I'd done so I could see to tie my laces.

Another ten years and I'll be passed caring.
