Finally, the first Triphylla Fuchsia has started to bloom - F.koralle.............

            DSC_2461.jpg

Found a pot of self seeded Campanula (persicifolia?) a few weeks ago and separated a few and potted them up. One has put up a weedy flower stem and this is the result. It has a very slight lilac tint to it which is nice!

            DSC_2459.jpg

The small flowers of Digitalis parviflora are just starting to open.............

            DSC_2462.jpg

It is a hardy and truly perennial Digitalis, but dislikes being moved and this was the only one of the six that I dug up and bought with me when I moved that survived.

One of my Eucomis bicolor appears to be a little drunk!

Close up of the sober one.............

And, talking of Campanulas, "Kent Belle" started to unfold today due to the warmer temperatures. I saw a bee disappear inside one of those tubes but didn't have the camera then. All that purple light around you Today's pictures 26 June 2012 008.JPG Today's pictures 26 June 2012 011.JPG - must be magic. Lucky little bee...

                      Penstemon Burgundy, first flowers.
Dark, but contrasts well next to the Erysimum
