    Hi All,

I bought this Aristolochia (I think it's gigantea) on the weekend.

Will be indoors, so temp shouldn't be a problem. Though lack of humidity particularly in winter might be.
Hope I can keep it going.

    Thanks
    Sirius

suggestion from jungle seeds , This quick growing vine can climb 20 meters high in tropical conditions but can be kept back to a sensible size with careful pruning. Quite cool tolerant tough vine so suitable for a cool conservatory or greenhouse kept at above 10C in winter.

The flowers/buds seems to be concentrated near the base of the plant. I am assuming this is on the older growth.

If this is the case, if the plant would be cut down to the ground every winter, would there be enough time for older growth to produce flowers in 1 season?
