    Found him munching on one of my geraniums. I just left him alone and he's still there today. Any ideas? CATERPILLAR.jpg

    I've been doing some research, Catz, and in the site "growsonyou" there's a pic of the caterpillar entitled "Strange Visitor" and they have identified it as a rare Pale Tussock Moth Caterpillar:snork:

      Ok I agree it's some type of tussock moth larvae but not so sure its the pale one. Those are mostly green and this guy is dark. I will see if he's still there tomorrow and try to narrow it down more. Thanks for steering me the right direction Armandii!!

              He's still out there eatin and poopin on the same geranium. Good thing he's alone or I'd have to chuck him and his mates into the neighbours garden..........

              I'm always very cautious with hairy Caterpillars, Catz, as usually the hairs are there to repel predators....including us, and touching them does usually give you a rash and some painful irritation:WINK1:
