Lovely Nick, i've got the Mamod TE1a still in its box:dbgrtmb: That looks like the same model.

Not seen the Car or the Train before though.

Fiver ok for the RAC badge? No extra postage as I can lob it in with the petrol can.

Ooooooh, some cool stuff appearing in this thread. Makes me feel even more at home. For me it would be old oil lamps - I don't have many, and the ones that I do have are fairly new-style glass affairs, but I really love the look of the old ones (particularly brass) - I keep promising myself that one day when I am not broke that I will treat myself to a couple.

                :wow: They are stunning! :)

I don't even know what it is that I like about old lamps, especially oil lamps. When I was a kid, I had to live a while in a caravan (long story) which had gas mantle lighting, and even then I loved them.

Mind you, I am one of those people that would have an open fire in a heartbeat instead of a gas one - mind you, this house we are in has none!

She's a little squidgy, or is she a Madonna type diva?
And the plant stand is scrumptious too,

Is she a female Staffie? A lass who I work for on Thursday has a podgy white and pink one with a few feint spots on her tum. She thinks everyone who comes to their door has only "come to see me:wub2:" and it takes about 5 minutes to get past her and on into the front room to see anyone else. She has a beautiful grin from ear to ear and will sit on you ( she's a bit of a little porky) whilst you go through the hallo routine. I squat on the 3rd stair up, and almost squash you to death. Her breath is as sweet as a nut and she couldn't harm anyone. Her name is Phoebe,

Awww Nelly is gorgeous, bless her! :)

Your fire is a stunner too - although, as much as I love seeing a real fire in action, I am inclined to agree that it makes a lovely plant stand (indeed, I'd go so far as to say it would be a waste to light anything in it).

I feel your pain with the council - ours is the same. We can have barbecues etc, but thats about it as we are in a smokeless zone.
