Some of them are amazing this year and we've got some North Wind Dancer crosses going to bloom for the first time this year. One so far and really pretty but perhaps not different enough from parent but who cares when they look like NWD. Daylily lunch on 14th so hoping for some decent weather then. Rain of epic proportions today. We have a few regulars who come and stay the weekend, New Forest a lovely place to be anyway. Would love to meet you too:)

They are brilliant this year aren't they despite the awful weather, such huge flowers on them all, 'Long Stocking' which usually flowers fairly early is just getting taller and taller but the buds are still tiny, well over 4ft don't know how tall it'll end up.
I've just looked at NWD on Tinkers what a stunner, you're doing it again another for the wish list :heehee:, sure any babies from that will be gorgeous.
Yes the New Forest is not somewhere I've ever been another reason to come :)
We've just got tickets today, we're going to York races end of July, so shopping for a new dress this week, I will not be wearing a hat though :thud:
Right must go out and sort some trip wires, we must have well over a hundred fish in our pond, went to feed them the other day not a fish in sight, strange as usually its like feeding time in the piranha tank:heehee:, anyway yesterday they appeared again after 3-4 days, last night went out to check on a new daylily thats about to open and what should fly up from the pond a flippin heron, we've had the pond 9 years and never had a visit, its quite deep 8ft deep in the middle and densesly planted on 2 sides so places for the fish to hide, thought it would be too deep for it to wade really  , far to large to net, still don't like to think of my fishes being eaten so going to try some wire round the edge see if that works.

Hello there, umm, mentor aye? Went a bit mad with it a couple of years ago and have some pretty well grown plants now. The one that flowered was a cross to Droopy Drawers and was a lovely shape. Also tried Margo Reed Indeed, Turkey Lurkey, Black Arrowhead and Even Stephen. Maybe one will be OK. Lol. Hope your season is progressing well, weather so awful here still. Fabulous bloom day today and seedling bed amazing, lots of Black Ice and Skinwalker crosses, very tall and lovely shapes, would just be nice for them to have a bit of sun.

NWD will flower any time it likes it seems. Always surprises me. I hope it does something for you this year. So beautiful. Got huge pot of Desert Icicle blooming today. Amazing but still no sun. At least we have kept our blooms on Webster's Pink Wonder today.

So glad All American Windmill bloomed for you already. Funnily enough ours opened yesterday for the first time too. V. soggy again today. Started dead heading but the bag was so heavy cane in and had a cup of coffee instead. Lol. Lovely pics, that def. doesn't look like American Revolution but lovely all the same

We certainly do joolz, so sick of this flippin rain now, I had 5 flowers open yesterday on a really lovely one 'Sink Into Your Eyes' but not worth photographing as every one was ruined by the rain , yours are probably just later flowering varieties, sure you'll have flowers soon :dbgrtmb:

I did the same Pollie started deadheading, but stepping around among the plants I was getting soaked so gave up, and don't know about you but its raining again this morning, can see my first ever flower open on 'Sanford Star Search' from the kitchen window but not venturing out yet the way the rains coming down.
