Despite a forecast of heavy showers and thunderstorms for today its been pretty much wall to wall sunshine and very humid and sticky, the temperature reached a sweltering 28.4 degrees and its still 20.6 degrees now at almost 10.30pm!!!

Tomorrow and Saturday we are forecast a months rain, weather warnings have been issued for very heavy and prolonged rain....:help::runforhills:

Sunny, warm and humid today, temperature reached around 20C, the first time this year, but it's not set to last long.

I've just checked our long range forecast, rain for the next eight days. Hibernation it is then. :snooze:

I 'remember', in the late 1800's, when the pea souper fogs were called 'London Particular' :heehee: :old:. I also remember (properly, this time) the pea souper of 1952 when they reckon it killed 4,000 Londoners. :hate-shocked:

Batten down the hatches Loli, sounds like it's on it's way. Fingers crossed it's not too bad and you don't have to pump the garden again.

It was a very warm and humid night, hopefully the rain will freshen things up a bit..

The plants have loved the heat of the last few days and the steady drizzle we've had since 4.30 will have them jumping for joy. It's 60F out there at the moment.
