I haven't taken many photos to be honest.. I have had the tunnel up for 1 month now & loving it..

I only have a small one up so far as the rest of the ground I have bought is still under cultivation, but will come free September so I am going to put up a short one in length but very wide on the rest of the ground I think.. Let me know what your thoughts are on that..
The piece of ground I have bought is about 100 sq ms to cultivate & I basically want to cover it in tunnels as I have outside growing up at the farm... I have bought more land but need to build a garage & wood store as well..

So this is it a few weeks ago just after I had moved it all in...

It is just a 4 hoop one..

I n this pic you can see toms on left. I have just plunged the pots into the soil so as not to set them back..
    Aubergines interspaced
Large container with squash plants & a large container with courgettes..

Along the end in the middle for height is sweet corn.
    Hanging basket with strawberries..

Down the righthand side is Artichokes & french beens.
A couple of lone Bbean plants.
    Cabbage..
Intespersed in amongst all are shallots beetroot & lettuce..
Up by the door end I know also have climbing beans just starting on one side & peas on the other..

I will take a few more pics when I go around later Steve..
Sadly I still have some finishing off work, but wanted to get planting so will finish the timber edging later..

This year is going to be a bit hit & miss but next year I will be geared up & ready at the right times to plant...

Nice one Marley:dbgrtmb: Did that Callaloo I gave you survive? My first lot died thru lack of Sun & the second sowing got eaten by slugs.

Only problem I could see with that is the loss of height at the edges in relation to the length of the tunnel, but I guess you get that regardless of the length of tunnel anyway.

I think you have done an excellect job with the tunnel Marley and it's nice to see someone else starting their journey with one...I noticed you had a wooden door made too ! ;)

And such a range of plants packed in too, well done you!

          Steve...:)

Fantastic job, Marley :dbgrtmb:. Although I would be a lttle concerned about the artichokes. The leaves spread pretty wide and may smother your beans.

Well my little tunnel is doing me proud to be honest.. It has yielded lots of toms, courgettes & beans so far...
My Artichokes are getting big now shiney & they are certainly filling that side.. I have peas & beans doing well, shallots just finishing, beetroots chillies, herbs..

Zigs the Callaloo plants are growing well now in there too.. I have a few cranberries even as well.!!!

I will try & remember to take my camera round later & get a few shots.. Some of the rest of the ground is slowly coming free now so going to sow some green manure on it for now, as hopefully getting 2nd & bigger tunnel up in October..! :yay:

Marley, your tunnel looks great and you are putting a lot of energy into it. The nightmare is when the weeds will start showing up. Keep up the good work!
