The field of wheat looks like it could be Organic, there are no tramlines in the field and it may be it's it first field for corn so they've come up
But also people are cutting back to make things cheaper and for more porfit?
Or you never no if the neighbour or someone has found some seeds and scattered them?
Could also be planted for environmentle payments,

Probably not Jiffy but I think if you are not informed, you think the worst and rumours spread around that maybe mere speculation.
    Are you a farmer Jiffy?

Well, Jiffy, I actually know the Farmer growing the crop and he's not a big time producer although he owns over 800 acres of land. This is the third year he has grown corn in that field while other fields beside it are not used as he's quite laid back as to what he grows. Most of his crops are sold locally to small businesses and the local Villages while he also rents out land to the Villagers to raise Pigs. Because he's not commercially driven to raise masses of crops he doesn't use chemicals to a great degree as it would prove expensive for such small crops. He also only grows one crop a year in a field unlike many farmers who will grow several and harvest several crops from a field in the same year. I have known him for years as the River Nene flows through his land and I've got his permission to fish it!!:snork:
