    Now that the weather is bust, and someone's parked our jet stream in the wrong place and forgotten where they left it, it now rains all the time and I've started to realise that it will be necessary to adapt to a soggy life.

    So what fun things are there to do in the rain?

            I found something to do for half an hour. The lad and I went for a walk round the neighbourhood seeking out puddles to jump in.

                    Now if you were Harry from the Vietnam Kitchen Garden, you'd be in the potting shed cleaning stuff, sharpening tools, thinking about making wire baskets with lilly of the valley table displays for Christmas, making lables out of zinc plate, weaving trugs to collect mushrooms......

                            Ive had the chance to dig out blue geraniums magnificum with the ground being wet:) i thought i would have to wait a few months as they are awful to get out of dry soil:mad:
