Reminded me of my older 'not so clued up' brother a while back who went to a car boot sale.
He said 'Hey Rob did well at a car boot sale!'
Me: 'Why, what did ya sell.'
Bro: 'All those old Beatles albums! Never though anyone would want them, but I wasn't there 5 minutes and a guy came over and bought the lot!'
Me: What all those first original pressings that have never been played, in their orignal sleeves that you've kept all these years?'
    Bro: Yeah!!
Me: 'Errrm how much did he give you?'
Bro: Well I asked for a tenner but guess what, he give me £15!! yeah!!
Me: [Sobs uncontrollably] What about the Stones albums?
Bro: Oh them, I sold them last year, I think he was the same bloke.

    True story. :wallbanging:

Maxwell's Silver Hammer gets my vote.
Teh Beeb never seem to want to play it so it's not too well known - but I like it!

Don't know about Paul but I'm still pretty certain that 'Ahmed' at our local chippy is Elvis.

What a great site Dim. who'd have a thought a left-handed lad from Liverpool could cause so much controversy and empty air!

Oh, today my camera failed. For some time I didn't know what the problem was, but it's fixed now and working.

I took the shots, which were pending since the morning and my mind was literally celebrating the occasion singing:

... You'll never leave and you know it's true
Cause you like me too much and I like you...

Here's what I shot: ipomoea purpurea 'Sunrise serenade' in bud!

Zig, I bought my White album from Belgrade (former Yugoslavia) in 1986. Honestly, I'll have to hear the record again to tell you whether its stereo or mono. But my vague memory suggests... stereo.

I've been back to this thread several times just to play that one again Angelina. Don't have a record player anymore. Forgotten just how good it is:dbgrtmb:
