I grew this campanula from mixed seed from Plantworld, I've checked the species on their site and identified a few of my plants but can't seem to find this one,I only got the 1 plant of this variety, its 4-5ft tall with branching stems that are covered in hairs which are quite prickly, lovely plant even managed to stay upright in all the wind and rain with no support, any ideas

It think the top one is the Nettleleaf campanula trachelium. I think I need to see the white one in flower as opposed to bud please,

    Thanks for that Jenny :dbgrtmb:
The second picture is of the same plant lower down, I just took another picture to show a better view of the leaf and stem and the way it branches.

Yes and a right seed weed too. I have just pulled up over 100 of them from places where I would rather not have tall plants. Dead head or suffer. As bad as Aquilegias for that.

One man's meat Palustris. Look at Mr Shiney's garden. Packed to the gunnels with Aquiliega and a beautiful sight to behold IMO.
I have this Campanula, along with "Takesimana Elizabeth" which I like. She's tart that chucks it about like there's no tomorrow but I love her flower form.
      Now, ground elder.....:gaah:
