OK. Now can anyone advise if I can take cuttings off a Fuchsia whilst it's in flower? If not then I may need to wait.

Thanks Joolz - for some reason I thought bicentennial was going to be an orange and cream combination. It's still lovely, and I guess I'm being paranoid about the flowers! It's just yours and Merle's have got that lovely velvety look that makes me want to push my face into them. I think the pink and purple combination is probably my favourite - things like Cecile and Winston Churchill. They did have some at Homebase yesterday, but I already had two bags of shopping and three New Guinea impatiens to carry on the walk home! I also don't think I've got room for any more - although there's always room somewhere, isn't there?

My fuchsias this year are shocking :runforhills:
Think I may have planted them out a little too early
They are only about 8 inch tall with around 4 flowers on it.
Grew them last year in pots and looked fantastic till the vine weevil got them :hate-shocked:
Took cuttings but they didn't make it though the winter

Oh, same here! I lost a few last year. Must get the loft ladder done for this winter so I've got somewhere to put them all!

Happy to do some cuttings for you - I do have varying success with cutting though, some take off without any trouble and others end up as sticks.
