Some of the cases I hear of, Hydro, make you wonder mentally "how could he/she/them do that??". Sitting in a Crown Court listening to the evidence, hearing the witnesses and the person charge with the offence can give you a bad day. But an emotionally disturbed person committing a crime and one who quite cold bloodedly and unemotionally does something criminal or inhuman are two different things. And No we are not that bad really......for every bad person there are millions of good ones.:snork:

No, of course not but I believe in good and evil. Most murderers who commit their heinous crimes are, after being assesed deemed fit enough to stand trial. They imho are simply evil people. You can't put somone in hospital and take the evilness out of them just as much as you couldn't put good in them.
I believe some people can recognise good and evil in people by a method we don't understand.
Anyway I've got Paranormal Activity 3 taped and i'm gonna watch it now!

If there were such a thing as GHOSTS do you not think your mother or someone who loved you dearly would not appear to you and confirm they were fine
Or someone who hated you would appear and continue their hate against you

As for the afterlife that would be fun, First dearly loved wife killed in a car crash, then you marry again, or a good lover who you never took up with, ten years later you all meet up in the after life ho ho oh to be a fly on the wall

The other night when I was replying to this thread, arguing that there are no such things as ghosts or spirits that go bump in the night, the bulb in the little lamp on my desk shot towards the shelves like a bullet out of a gun, ricocheted off them and, missing my face by inches, plopped onto the sofa and burnt a small hole in it. I think the spirits are trying to tell me not to buy dangerous IKEA carp which overheats.

It would never work if you don't believe Jack, the human mind is a powerful thing.

Hypnotists use this power, but not all people can be hypnotised, but some can, very much so.

no, thats not what I meant ....

it's hard to explain, but let me try again ....

not so long ago, they tried to cook captain Cook in a pot .... cannabilism was the norm for that tribe ... they were taught that it is good to eat and kill fellow humans .... they believed it was the moral and normal thing to do ...

to this day, some Japanese eat whales and dolphin .... they don't believe that what they do is bad (bad to me and you)

some Chinese eat rhino horns and cats and dogs .... me and you know that it is not the right thing to do (according to our beliefs)

so, we (me and you) are educated differently .... we are taught that there is a life after death, and that we should not do evil, because if we do, we will go to hell ... we are taught what is good and what is evil ... but we also know deep down inside that it is not the right thing to do

if we were taught that there is no afterlife, many would revert to crime and not give a damn about anything

but saying that, many don't blink an eyelid when we go to wars with other countries for oil .... we now have £100 million pound jets that can drop more bombs on innocent people

Although i have never tried it - i believe it is impossible to boil a pot of water large enough to cook a full grown man in using a fire. Its a myth. :blue thumb:

But if you use a large steamer, your victim will keep his vitamins and crispness and be much better for you. :)
