The biggest unknown in our universe is not whether there is life on other planets, but what controls the fundamentals of the universe, and just how many potential universes are there out there. If there is, in fact, a multiverse, then it may well be 'an almighty one' is closer to the truth than us scentifically minded people might like to think.

With all due respect, i think thats just another case of religion trying to hide in the areas of science we dont understand. If they do find parellel universes they wont find God there, then you will have to think of somewhere else he mite be hiding untill science, as it always does, blows that one out the water too.

There is a multiverse. It is well documented in a whole library of great literary works. Speaking of libraries, there is one library in the whole multiverse, and all libraries are actually different aspects of it, all occupying a dimension that overlaps all other dimensions, call L space. L space has different rules of space and time, existing everywhere and everywhen simultaneously. It has many custodians, but none higher ranking than an orangutan known simply as 'the librarian'. As the laws of quantum physics and probability dictate that in an infinite multiverse, every possibility has to be a reality, one universe in the multiverse is slightly odd, in that all its celestial bodies are roughly spherical and are obsessed with circular motion, as opposed the far more practical and sensible flat disc carried on the back of four giant elephants who in turn stand on the back of a giant turtle.

Hydrogen, do you think I am religious? The one thing I am absolutely certain of is I am not religious, and further more, I am sure there isn't a god, not as religion suggests anyway.

An almighty one could be anything, it could be a ball of intense plasma, anything. However the question of how the universe works is still one that no one can claim to know.

Just as equally, it could be completely random and unco-ordinated.

Do I think there is life on other planets/galaxies/universes? Absolutely. Do I think any of these "aliens" have ever visited us? Absolutely not.
