Bizzie Lizzies RIP

I was just thinking yesterday , sadly , I have not seen one Busy Lizzie planted out this year. Looks like the demise due to the BL mildew is 100% . Does anyone have news on when or if they will introduce resistant strains ?
I know some consider BL's a bit naff and common , but I really like them , then again I suppose I am a bit naff and common

 

I havent even tried any of the bedding Impatiens this year.
A fewvof the garden centres I have been to are advertising resistant strains. Whether there is any truth in this, remains to be seen.

I bought a few species Impatiens from Constantine this spring and so far, they seem fine.

 

I think i remember seeing a list of plants in BnQ at the start of the year that they would not be selling this year due to disease last year, if i remember right bizzy lizzies were on the list.

I've got about a dozen dotted around the garden that I've grown from seed this year. Despite the weather they are looking healthy but have been very slow to grow and bloom.
