Karen's Curls is lovely Spruce, at first I thought it was Miss Jessie,you can certainly tell thats one of the parents

Ahah! This saves me asking the question.

I`ve just found out I have one (possibly more) in my garden and it`s just came into flower. I posted a pic in the I.D section. Now I don`t remember seeing it flower last year and this explains why. My mate works in the Royal Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh and he gave me these last year. I'd imagine they would have been grown from seed but am not 100% sure.

Glad to see they`re very tough plants.

Here's my first seedling Gretzky, I sowed loads of seed from the USA a couple of years ago just before that awful winter, lost the lot apart from 2 plants this is the first to flower, its lovely 4ft tall with petals that twist an curl around 9inch across, its a cross of 'Star of Fantasy X 'Iktomi', we live and learn, this time I sowed my seeds in spring rather than autumn and they're already a good size but will spend their first winter in the greenhouse, excuse the weeds this is growing on the allotment which is at the bottom of a hill so too wet to even weed at the moment

Could you ID this one for me by any chance?
