Amazing what you learn at work. For example, there is a castle in Scotland called Dunrobin. Presumably it was once Dunrobin', but over the years the omission mark was lost. :heehee:

Something I learned this week - when you're on the computer and you see something like 'Page 1 2 3 .... 9 10' - those dots between the numbers are known as 'crumbs' apparently.

This little-known-fact-that-nobody-cares-about, is brought to you courtesy of a (much) younger colleague who, seeing my bemused face when he said 'Just click on the crumbs', was kind enough to explain and managed to do so without appearing (too) patronising!

When you go in to work tomorrow, you can politely explain to him that he is wrong:)

He is getting confused with a 'bread crumbs', which on a website refers to something that indicates where you are relative to the home page. An example is on this page, at the top, see where it says 'Forums General Discussion Non-Gradening Discussion'? That's what's commonly known as a bread crumb. It is showing you where you are (non-gardening discussion) relative to the root (Forums).

There you go, more completely useless information:)
