    When we moved here 40 years ago we unpaked a lot of boxes and put others up in the loft to be unpacked over a period of time. That period of time has stretched a bit as there are still two boxes up there :rolleyespink:. We haven't the faintest idea what's in them but we don't seem to have missed anything :heehee:

            My dad has a record player that has 16 among its speed settings. It is made of wood and has valves inside it.

            That would be so that blind people could listen to "records" that were just speech, a story for example, since it does not need to be "High quality" the record can go slower, so allowing more playing time.
