I spotted bindweed growing in the rain forest biome at Eden. For a moment I was going to nip out to get some RoundUp but then I remembered its not mine, and its probably supposed to be there. I hope I was right. That was 3 or 4 years ago. The rainforest biome might now just be a tangled mess with a few gardeners in there looking about 10 years older than they actually are.

Bindweed is lovely when it's growing in a hedge in a field in the middle of nowhere miles away from me, there is that new round up gel stuff that may be useful in the garden liberation wars

Or providing a windbreak from onshore winds whilst also getting muddled up with Russian Vine (what a combination!):

You see, in that photo the bindweed isn't even a weed! Everything has its place - great photo.

I was just in the kitchen talking to wife, not even looking out the window, when my finely honed bindweed alert system kicked in. In the corner of my eye I noticed a small patch of green where green shouldn't be. I spun round to see a few leaves poking through the fence panel at the very far end of my garden. It has of course now been introduced to my mate Round Up. Never give it a chance is what I say.

If you look over the top of that hedge you can see the Fishguard to Rosslare ferry:

Thought I recognised it. How did you manage a photo without rain though, it was like an Indian monsoon here this morning.
