I've been busy collecting seed today so pm me your address Pam and I'll pop them in the post, will have more later but I'll add them to the parcel when it starts making its rounds, or send to you later  , however we're doing it.

You know, since this seed swap thread started ive been watching my plants more closely which i wouldnt of normally done, ive never collected seed from so many plants..most of the seeds i sent to pam for swap are spares from what i have grown this yr:) but i remember what the seed look likes so i know vaguelywhen to collect now from the plants ive grown :blue thumb: i love gardening and its given me the confidence to collect seed from other plants ... still a bit unsure thou :heehee:

I love to grow from seed ,to look at a plant and think I grew that from seed to maturity is a wonderful feeling, I do buy plants in ,some you have to ,but its never quite the same sense of pride for me.:pathd:

I think as this is prime time for collecting seeds ,early October seems about right.,by then we should have most seeds collected and well dried .

An average of 2 members a week, in line with the 3 day rule, with 19 members up to now, :grphg: will take us to December. If we get any more join in we will have to all be patient as the Christmas post will slow circulation.
If we want after a short break for yuletide ,new year festivities ,:ccheers::partytime: we can as long as the parcel is good enough go round as long as we like.

Any other thoughts ,ideas,:ideaIPB: please feel free to post them, this is a joint undertaking. :dancy:

Sorry to say that I will no longer be able to contribute to the seed swap. I've volunteered at my local nature reserve and have decided to put all my unwanted seeds out there for the visitors to take, in exchange for a donation of course.
