    Its my 1st yr randyros but the weather hasnt been great so its a dee dums n see :heehee:

        Those leaves are looking good Joolz. We have decided to leave ours a bit longer and see how long it takes for the leaves to go naturally yellow - have stripped the bottom leaves off same as you.

          The ones i have hung are a bit yellow but you wouldnt think it by th photo :)ive just been out and tightened the strings now they are a bit limper today,i might make some room in the shed cos not sure the potting shed is the ideal place to hang them,esp if the sun comes out :dunno:

          Mine are initially in the airing cupboard and then when more of less dry put into an open cardboard shoe box to finish off.

            hubby got his seeds in the post today. shame he has to wait till next year to grown em :heehee:

              I got him some Golden Virginia seeds. I read the info (he's dyslexic) and it says open the pack immediately, place the pack in a mug & put them in a dark place till you're ready to plant..... :dunno:

              Ive never heard that before,i left mine in the packet they came in and no problem with germination but theres loads we dont know,anything you find out you can share is appreciated randyros :dbgrtmb:
              Also i believe it is better to grow a few varieties so you get a better blend of cigerette,ive got rustica,burley hampton aswell as virginia growing so i will have seeds if you want any :blue thumb:

                    sorry zig,i was a bit matter of fact then:doh: ,i was thinking germination wise,which they are easy to germinate not slug proof for sure:cry3:once planted out different story,its been such a wet yr.... slug heaven :frown: if i grow em next yr i think i will put straw or bark around to deter them:dunno: xx
