Thanks Mandy! They are glass and are also solar lights. They give off a lovely soft glow at night!

Naylors Ark, I bought this cart approx 2yrs ago with the sole intention of putting it in the garden, but when I went to collect it, it just fell apart!:frown: It wasn't the sellers fault, just mine for being to lazy to go and look at it.
It's well within the realms of my woodwork abilities to repair, but it has just been sitting in my workshop taking up space. Time has come for me to salvage the metal from it to make something else from it (one day) and then sadly bin the rest.

                  As seen on Ebay.

                    What a shame Eddie, it's such a pretty one.
I must admit that mine is very delicate. I don't think I could move it again.

                    Good thread!

I'm interested in "Garden Sources" (I think its called). I have a book with similar title which is basically sections with Photos for Inspiration. Pictures of Arbours, Pergolas, and the like.

When I see any suitable photos on the Web I SAVE them into a folder of "inspiration" pictures.

Perhaps we should have threads for "Hedge openings", "Gateways", "Path edgings", "Steps", "Paving patterns" and the like?? to provide inspiration for garden revampers?

What a brilliant idea Kristen.:dbgrtmb: Could one of the Admin/Mods set a section up to do that. We could also add ornaments, lighting and seats/benches to the list.

I think we could just create Threads, and then perhaps a single "Index" thread with links to all the individual threads (which a Mod could make Sticky, or add into an existing Sticky)

Alternatively maybe we could upload Photos to some sort of Gallery with Keywords - I haven't looked at how that stuff all works with the new forum software/

and then it goes on to Plant Selectors trees/shrubs/Climbers.Roses etc divided into Quick/Slow, Fragrant, and the colour by season etc. but rather than plant selection it was the garden structures above that I was thinking of.

If folk want I could spend a bit of time over the next few days getting some material together, and then post a series of threads, to kickstart the process and create a consistent base (assuming I kickstart it in a way folk will be happy with

I have a few bits and bobs but I like this little fellow; carved out of a piece of log, my wife bought it for my birthday in June, now given a coat of varnish and is perched on a post :snork:
