Read up about it, so decided to go and have a look this afternoon. (any excuse to cut short a shopping trip in Taunton:snork:)

Its got a revolving ladder inside so that they could get round to the nests.

Some nice small gardens open to the public around the village.

Now which is leaning here? The Church or the Wall?

Did you look at that very long rood screen in the church next door?

Ooh Dunster, I love it there & the walk down to the beach is a lovely one too, they still have some Beach Huts there as well, but you can walk for miles & miles on the beaches there.. :yahoo:

          Cheers All:dbgrtmb:

Last time I went to Dunster Beach fishing, it got so cold that we couldn't feel our hands, so we packed it in & jumped back in the van.

On the way back, i was just getting up to 70mph on a dark wintery road in the middle of the night when my mate, in his Newcastle accent loudly proclaimed "Minus one!"

I swerved all over the road trying to avoid hitting this invisible swan that he was on about.

Didn't realise he was just reading the temperature out. I'll give him fog on the Tyne all right.

I went to Dunster a few years back, and very nice it was too. Reminds me a bit of Chipping Sodbury. We had a cream tea down by the small river:)

Down by the mill? (many years ago you could wander/slip in that way for free)

I don't recall a mill, but old age doesn't come alone:) This place was to the left, at the bottom as you walk down to where the river is. I seem to recall the river crosses the road? Something like that...
