why do we like Ziggy so much? (PS you can offer me a pint later)

Now, taking Ziggy as an example....It is quite evident the number of followers that follow his posts.
What do his post gives you that other posts dont?
He is not a supergod lookwise, he may have a very troubled private life and work life, he may be quite different from how he sounds in his posts when you get to know him...and yet we are all glued to his posts.

Is it just that he is everywhere and you cannot help to avoid the posts? Is it the gardening knowledge oozing out? Is it the entertainment? Is it the accessible friendliness?
Is it that Serge Gainsbourg look (I can hear the laughs)?
Enlighten me I am curious.
I think the main feature is that he is telling a lot about himself ultimately creating a feeling of familiarity. Not only that. I think that this forum is like a second home to him and maybe we feel that.

He also knows lots of stuff and I share his views on other stuff.
