A few things are getting going at long last!

The first two are both Impatiens. This is I.niamniamensis which I popped into the ground in May this year................

The second is I.morsei. I had to put it outdoors a few weeks ago as it had an attack of red spider mite, and since then it has thrived - I put it outdoors earlier in the year and it struggled.................

Dipplarrhena moraea has been in bloom since May, the best that it's ever done for me!

    Alstromeria psittacina................

    Finally, Eucomis comosa "Sparkling Burgundy".................

The Hibiscus is truly special Bilbo.

Before Silver Surfer sees this, I can tell you that the name of the Glad relative is Acidanthera (murilea?) :hapydancsmil:

              LongK,
I.niamniamensis . I was given one yesterday. Are you growing it outdoors? Not able to remain outside in Winter surely?

I stuck it in the ground for the summer Jenny. In a few weeks I'll slice the stem up into sections and pot these up.

                Fabulous plants :dbgrtmb:

                These are more mundane.

A few of our pots and baskets.

A few more mundane shots - our garden doesn't do a lot this time of year (at the moment).

If you look closely at the conifers behind the greenhouse you may see that at the top of the one on the left are some roses sticking out. Apart from blooming lower down it always wants to have a good view from the top.

They're the seed heads of Phytolacca (Pokeweed). The plant is cut back every year and grows about 7ft high each year (except this year ) with large pink flowers and then the seed heads turn purple and then shiny black. A striking plant for a big border. It's in the front garden in the larger border on the right as you come into my garden.
