Are these slug eggs?

Apologies if this is the wrong place, but I've got these in my garden and I'm not sure what they are i.e. droppings, eggs, some sort of fungi?

If it's any help, if you tread in them, they are bright green and don't smell. They are only about 3-5mm in diameter.

I thought some sort of dropping but when you get quite close, they are quite gelatinous and almost see through/'clear'

I might have to go searching for burrows. Seems a bit odd given we live on a new estate and I've never seen a rabbit around here. My daughter will be please though..

Rabbit or very small Sheep Rabbits poo is green when it come out first, but then they eat it again to digest the cellulose.

On that note, i'm off for breakfast

 

We get this as well.
The gelatinous, slimy nature of this stuff is yuk.
Reminds me of seaweed.
It is extremely slippery to tread on.

I believe it is caused by a bacteria....Cyanobacteria - Nostoc commune

It has 'turned' into seaweed consistency...yet. Almost looks lie roe which is why I thought they could be some sort of eggs.

I think they're a bit too small for rabbit droppings.

Only one way to find out, time to set a trap!!!

 

Your 1st pic looks just like the stuff we have.

Have you tried to pick it up? Have you tried to tread on it?
Rabbit droppings are hard small balls.
Slug eggs are tiny translucent white balls.
Because your pic is in moss and grass it may not look as bad as the images I added.

 

I have accidentally trodden in it. Squelchy is the word that sprung to mind.

How do you get rid of it? Simple rake and a bit of TLC?

Well I was worried about rodents first of all but they are a bit too 'clear' and spherical
