Remember that when you find the tree that you need to pick some leaves and rub them on you when you're in private :dbgrtmb:. Not to go up to the tree and rub yourself over it! :heehee:

:heehee: Fortunately or otherwise Shiney and Loli I am unaware of any walnut trees around. I'll stick with lavendar oil I think.

        Good morning everyone:smile:

Havn't been around much as we have been trying to get a lot of things done over at the lottie again and in the garden although a couple of times the weather has been a tad too hot and it makes it uncomfortable to work in plus i am still watering gardens and greenhouse for friends who are away this week and last week :snork:

Had some time out to go over to some gravel pits to see a Sacred Ibis that is in the county but i think the amount of people around{screaming kids etc}has frightened it off so we missed out and the only thing we came away with was insect bites on our legs which are itching like mad:frown:

On the way home we saw loads of people lined up along the grass verges in one of the villages and when we asked what was going on they said they were waiting for the Red Arrows to appear from an air display in that village so we drove further on and when they suddenly appeared got onto the grass verge and with loads of others had a nice free air display from them:snork:The noise was very loud and i was shaking a bit trying to get them in my camera viewing bit but managed to get a good number of photos of them plus trees:biggrin:

I shall endevour to try and catch up with everyone again when i can:smile:

I've a day off today ...saying that i don't know which is hardest going to work or being at home:biggrin:....i've plenty to do in the garden and take mum shopping ....
Just noticed one or two leaves on the virginia creeper are changing colour:frown: it makes my heart sink alittle as to me that signals that the summer is slowly starting to fade away....
Cheer up for heavens sake:heehee: there's still plenty of it left yet :heehee:

            Hi Woo and Loli,:yay:

Lovely sunrise Woo and that one certainly makes my day

            Loli,Wight beckons so lots to do as well on that front as our home on wheels has to be kitted out,plus trying to get all my shorts and Tshirts ready plus silly me offered to do holiday watering for friends and neighbours but Mr Kandy has had to water the hanging baskets for friends as they are too high for me and i eventually got round to finishing off my litter picking yesterday morning that i tried to do last Wednesday and i even had Willow help me {well he followed me up and down the roads:biggrin:}

The ticket price for the airshow was £20 each for adults so we saved some money there by standing on the edge of a cornfield to watch them and they even formed the heart shape and put out the red white and blus colours at one stage:snork: Some of the little kiddiewinkles were frightened because the noise was so loud but for us slightly deaf ones it wasn't too bad:snork: We also saw the Lancaster come over while at the gravel pits and also stoppped to take a photo of an American bomber later on so all in all a good afternoon out:yay: Hope Theo,Archie and the chooks are all ok and hope you have a lovely day off but don't get too hot when out shopping with mum:smile:

              Aloha everyone,

Thank heavens it's a bit cooler today :phew:. By 9.30 yesterday I had to give up trying to do some weeding because of the heat. I went out again at 7.30 p.m. to pick the beans (picked another 17lb) and was dripping in sweat by the time I was finished. So had to have another shower! I'll wash away at this rate :heehee:

I've got a meeting here this morning (about a dozen people) and Mrs Shiney has patients so I'll have to juggle the car parking.

Keep well and have a great day

              Aloha!

Aloha Everyone, I am like the little white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland running along crying I'm late, I'm late! I had to rush over to Wickford first thing to pick up Amber's flea treatment from the vets for the next 3 months and then on down to Pitsea to my opticians to pick up my new glasses (and they are great) and then stop off and pick up Steve and my lottery tickets for the week and then home again feeling totally and utterly exhausted.

Thanks WOO for the lovely sunrise picture again my dear, hope all is well with you and yours.

Shiney I would think you were well tuckered out by the time you finished last night with all going on in your household. Hope you and Mrs S get time to have a bit of R and R sometime or other my friends.

Kaz, hope all goes well for your Mum's visit and she enjoys meeting the great grand children she is yet to meet.

Kandy you will have earned that stay on holiday by the time you get packed and away.

Loli, enjoy your day off but don't overdo things in the meantime.

              Aloha Everyone!:wub2:
