          Hi All,

No pictures but just been to the garden centre to check out the bulbs, but when I got there they have a sale on seeds. So I have brought:

Sweet pea - Night and Day
          Petunia
          Busy Lizzie
          Tomato - Sweet baby
          Achillea - Summer Berries
          Radish - Scarlet Globe
          Pumpkin - Amazonka
          Parsnip - Tender and True
          Beetroot - Globe 2
Sweet Pea - Pink Cupid (these are ony 20 cm thought they would be nice in pots by seating area)
Sweet Pea - Sugar and Spice (hanging basket variety)
          Lobelia - Tupa

All are either Suttons or Thompson and Morgan I paid £8.45 which I thought was a bit of a bargain.

          Rusty

Homebase were having a mini sale....got 5 Dahlia Dahlietta Becky plants for 90p for the whole lot :)

I assume that these can be replanted next year from tubers?

I think! That the perennial dahlias are tubers, but the annuals are not. I may be wrong though?

The "annual" ones I grew had tubers, albeit very small, but I successfully overwintered a couple that I had liked ... there may be other non-tuberous types of Annual Dahlias though?

Kilmarnock Willow £2 from B&Q as not too healthy looking, although I chopped off some of the rubbishy bits and I swear today it looks 10 times better already
