Hello all, long time no see

Sorry for butting in with this, but a gardening friend of mine is running a little competition and has asked me to promote it online if I can (he's not too great with this internet thing himself!), so I thought of here and thought you lovely people might be interested in it.....

Anyway, he's giving away a bag of topsoil, and a copy of 'The Gardener's Pocket Bible', all the details are here: Link removed by Admin

    Happy gardening everyone :dancy:

Seconded fat controller. I thought facebook was for people, why do I read about multi nationals saying "See us on facebook"?

      Cheers, Tony.

Its also the fact that I am somehow not considered worthy of taking part in competitions etc just because I'm not on Facebook?

This whole 'got to be on Facebook/ebay thing really drives me mad - and me being a stubborn old mule, the more I feel forced to do something the less inclined I am to do it.

I agree too. I'm not on face book and don't wish to be.
I hate the way firms assume everyone is a member of it. :gaah:
Sorry Clare if it's put a downer on your post.

            Welcome back Clare:sign0016:

Sorry but your friend has got you to spam us. For someone who doesn't know his way around the internet, he's done very well linking his business website to a facebook competition:biggrin:

I'm afraid i'm taking the link off the main board, but he's welcome to put his details into our business directory under the appropriate heading:)

Because the Sponsors/Advertisers can see your every move (well ... not YOUR moves, 'coz you aren't on Facebook, smart boy :) ) ... and thus they can better analyse how their advertising £££ are working for them.

As they [used to] say in advertising: "50% of the advertising budget is wasted, we just don't know which 50%" :)
