At the very least, your brother owes you a hell of a lot of hard graft next year to replant and landscape your garden!

Hi Alfie, sorry, my friend the remark about not drinking the concoction was made in jest.:dunno:

I think your brother is either very ignorant about gardening or has dropped you in it good and proper. If it is Glyphosate then it will kill your plants and possibly have a knock on effect into next year, especially as you say you've used it, got some more and reapplied it. Depending on how much you sprayed onto your neighbours plants will depend how they react. Some plants take several applications to kill them......how lucky are you feeling?.:dunno:

      Hi belbo,

This day is getting worse. Not only is it our first house (and garden) it was my girlfriends nans house. She loved the garden and my girlfriend helped her nan in it. Not only that, the girlfriends parents are away on holiday and they asked her to water the plants while they aren't their. It's only up the road from us, so I went round and did it for her on Sunday and poured some of the plant food I had into the sprayer you attach to the end of the hosepipe with the reservoir on it!!!

I'm feeling really sick right now.

Not very lucky at the moment armarni to be honest.

When I said only a bit on the next doors plants, it was actually quite a lot.

Well, cross your fingers, Alfie. I know it's hard to do but just accept what's happened and decide to start again if the worst happens. You're going to get some stick over this but, to be honest, if what you say is true about your brother telling you to use it as a feed as well as a weedkiller then it's really your brother to blame.:coffee:

You've got to feel sorry for him though, I wouldn't want to be in his shoes right now.

So, we've all got to help create a rather different garden for a while.
            We'll need some pictures first.
Could be quite a challenging project for GC Task Force!!

I'm a bit confused to be honest
You write a lot about "my brother says" (do you do everything your brother says? :dunno: ) and on his say so, you buy a product. Ok, fair enough.
Then you write "it says it kills weeds", so, that implies that you read something on the box/bottle/bag? Surely you would have read the instructions to find the dilution ratio? And, in doing so, would have seen that it is not a plant food but a weed killer? You are clearly literate.

            My advice to you is:-

~ do not take any further gardening "advice" from your brother
~ if you have seriously "fed" all the plants you state you have with this product, the only thing you can do is put your hands up to it and accept the consequences. Three gardens and one house of plants would not die of a heart attack from the stress of the move, and you would insult her intelligence by even thinking about it.
~ before you use any product in the garden/kitchen/bathroom/garage/building site/medicine cupboard, read any and all instructions (and warnings!)
~ look on the bright side; you've now got a clean area to start from scratch with (whether you like it or not)

              Hello again.

I have took some, pictures of my gardens both the front and the back, but my iPad can't put them straight this forum, can anyone help me please?

Mum, yes I do take the advice of my brother, he brought me up from when I was little so he is both my mom and dad, as well as my boss at work. He's the best anyone could wish for. I wont let anyone say anything bad about him as he is all I have got. He is a practical joker though, sometimes he goes too far. He sent me to the butchers one day last year to get some stuff for sandwiches to take to work and asked me to get a half of a pound of chicken lips. I got the chicken lips but they only did them in a quarter of a pound. One word of advice, don't ever eat chicken lips, they taste like shingle.

Bad day at work today too, I put a pallet lift through the conservatory we had just finished at a customers house, , dint sleep at all last night as I'm worried sick. I havn't told my girlfriend or the people next door, I don't know how to tell them. To top it off too, got stopped buy the police tonight on the way home (speeding) and I didn't know my brother didn't put me on the insurance on the werks van, so all in all a bad few days.

He insists that the food doesn't kill stuff except the weeds. I don't know who to believe, but as this is a good google garden site, I'm tending to believe you for all the advice.

For the jokes and everything on here, I take it on the chin. I mean Im used to my brother, he once shaved my eyebrows of and put permanent marker on my fingernails when we got in from a boozy Friday, doesn't sound bad but when you Werk with a load of blokes on site, you get some ribbing.

Can you transfer your photos to an PC/Mac from your iPad, or can you upload from the iPad to a hosting site like photobucket?

If you can transfer them to a PC, then you will be able to upload them directly to the forum and we will (hopefully) start to get you on the right path.
