              The Lovebird I presume is an escapee, if there is a pair the other one must lonely.

                Thanks Jenny yes he was having a good old sing song.
                Thanks strongylodon apparently a few of them escaped from an Avery not far from our house a few months ago. I have seen parrakeet's around but not lovebirds.

                    Oh what a shame its a cheerful little fellow if a bit noisy lol.They escaped quite a while ago but I suppose the weather is warm at the moment.Sad to think it wont survive the winter.

                    It's not really the cold that will see it's demise. It will be the lack of food during the winter, they are seed eaters. Or our native birds will attack it, sadly. :sad:

                      Thanks for the info.I do put out lots of seeds all year round hopefully it will eat them.What type of birds would attack it?

                      I forgot these photos might be of interest.Taken with my old camera. We used to have them land in our old garden occasionally.Quite a surprise to see a great big eagle sometimes wandering around the garden lol. I should point out we were very close to a bird of prey sanctuary.
