    Hi guys,

i seen this story on the local news earlier today.

    http://www.thisislancashire.co.uk/news/4199257.East_Lancashire_child_murderer_could_soon_be_freed/

If he is released from prison there will probably be a media blackout on the matter and he will be given a new identity and a home and a living in another part of the country, who knows could be in your local area could be in mine. Please sign this e-petition started by the family of the murdered girl to stop this i did it earlier and it literally took less than 2 minutes.

The article is dated March 2009.

While he is entitled to "apply" for parole, it does not mean it will be granted.

      The Judge said,

Pity the victim didn't get a say in it.

That is because this is the year he is "eligible" for parole (as is his right). It does *not* mean that he will be granted it :blue thumb:

Many things fall into the realms of "possible".

I do appreciate the sentiments behind the petition; how could I not? However, from what I have read so far, it is riding on the wave of emotion and "possibility", rather than fact and probability.

And hopefully, if enough folk object then he won't be.

He killed after being let out early, now that's a bit of an indicator in my book.

And will also be taken into account by a parole board :)

        Quite!

However, it does "cost" for these petitions to be processed ;)
