Just got back from Italy - Night Plant identification

    Hi All

    Just got back from my hols, i'll post some pics at the weekend. In the garden is a plant that nobody can identify, hopefully you can. My mam thinks it is a Japanese... can't remember the name.

    The pics are of the same type of plant, they just seed different colours and there are some really beautiful colours. They are very drought tolerant and grow in stoney ground. Being a night plant, we had some beautiful moths, including the humming bird hawk moth. Any ideas anyone? :)

    I think it may be Mirabilis Jalapa?

        I brought a few seeds home to try. Not sure what colour they'll be though, but worth a try!
