Not as nice today here, it stayed dry but was hazy for the most part and although the thermometer said 23 degrees we have a very brisk westerly breeze here that has made things feel cooler, especially in the shade..

I've been in Wem, Shropshire all day today and the weather was warm and sunny. The only downer was that the leaves were starting to fall from the trees........already!!!:dunno:

The leaves are dropping here too Armandii. I think it's going to be a long winter after having such a bad summer.

The temperature is dropping here on the island, but still sunny. The longer forecast is promising no more than 58F next week. Surprisingly, the night temperature's are holding up, for the last week they've been around 60F, so almost the same as in daylight hours.

Why is this wind so cold please? Even when it's not in the north it seems like a Spring wind?

No Jenny, it's an autumn wind. I think we're on the downhill road! :)

But I'm not mentally ready yet Sheal. Please can we have a couple of weeks of some dry sunny days?

I don't think any of us are Jenny, it's been such a lousy year, well three for me, we haven't had a decent summer in that time, but this year has been particularly bad. :) I hate autumn because it's the downhill road to winter. There is something to be said for hibernation!

Not as hot today, and calling for rain later.
