Thanks. I was busy today spreading its pollen around (6 crosses).
I think autumn will be coming late this year, so my reblooming types should be showing off for a long time. One of these is Moon Witch x Hoodwinked:
      Moon Witch x Hoodwinked (3).JPG
The tricky part about this photo is that both are the same cross:spinning:. It isn't hard to tell which I prefer.
      More unusual is this one:
      Scatterbrain x Big Kiss.JPG
This is the cross Scatterbrain x Big Kiss, and it has an extra petal (besides being a poly). This is what I would call cranberry for the colour, and it has a red eye.:dancy:

One of my best groups of seedlings is Wild Horses x Heavy Metal. I am going to keep all of them, but I am thinking of moving them into the same area so I can make a decide next year if I should get rid of any. But hidden by some regular lilies, and reblooming is this one:
Wild Horses x Heavy Metal (2).JPG
At 6" across, it stands out. The lilies need to go somewhere else, but that is a job for much later.
Also reblooming is a big favourite of mine in the Unknown group. Somehow I didn't write down the seedling info, so all I know is; it's a daylily, it is a DIP, evergreen, and reblooms at 5" across:
        Unknown.JPG
In know it is a DIP because I crossed it with Lacy Doily and got 27 seeds in 1 pod, and crossed it with (Summer Star x Heavenly Curl) and got 7 seeds.

One of the benifits from the hurricane scare was that I had tied up some of my favourites to poles, but I never cut the string afterwards. Good thing because the Eder seedling 0009/05 has this today:
          Eder 0009-05.JPG
That is 4 flowers on one scape! It would have tipped over and maybe broke because it is so top heavy.
I don't have a lot of the dormant types, but I couldn't pass up Foolish Dragon:
          Foolish Dragon.JPG
It has as pollen parent, tetra Dragons Eye. If you have seen the word 'tetra' included in a name, but don't know what it means, the original flower was a DIP. Then someone came along with a very dangerous, carcinogenic chemical and cut most of the plant away, applied the chemical, let it grow, and it mutated into a TET type. These types are large like DIPs, but have the 44 chromosomes of TETs and have the lower case tetra as the first part of their name.
Making an appearance is (Wedding Band x Ed Brown) X Spacecoast Starburst:
          C-11 x Spacecoast Starburst (3).JPG
I have 8 seedlings of this cross, but this is the one with the largest ruffling. I measured it at 1/2" on a 6" flower.

(Wedding Band x Ed Brown) X Spacecoast Starburst in the previous post has a great edge, but there is a sibling in the back that also has a large edge:
            C-11 x Spacecoast Starburst (2).JPG
I am lucky it doesn't have hang up problems - there are some that have so much ruffling that the edges become locked together and the flower cann't open.
            More refined is this one:
Evermore Lights X Spiny Sea Urchin (2).JPG
This is Evermore Lights x Spiny Sea Urchin.
Spacecoast Sea Shells is flowering again, and I was able to make several crosses with it today. Hopefully the weather will remain warm and give the seeds enough time to mature. I pulled out some pollen from Blue Spring and used it on ScSS.

I had a first flower on a seedling today of the cross Brigade of Butterflies x Sexy Sally:
Brigade of Butterflies x Sexy Sally.JPG
I was a little surprised by it. I knew I had had another seedling of this open in another area back in June, and this just sat there. But also it was very similar to another flower that is also open today:
              Inner View.JPG
For the third time this year, Inner View has flowers!
And for another suprise, Blue Oasis x Unk gave this:
              Blue Oasis x Unk.JPG
While there are 3 sepals, there are 5 petals laying flat and giving the impression of a polypetal type instead of one with extra petaloids.

I had a real unusual flower today:
                Spacecoast Sea Shells.JPG
This is Spacecoast Sea Shells, and the flower in the background is a normal one. So, I ran around pollenating everything I could. It takes 8 weeks for a TET seed pod to ripen, so I should have some seeds to harvest in November. I did make a cross to this flower with the pollen from Blue Eyed Bandit:
                Blue Eyed Bandit.JPG
Actually, I went both ways, just to increase the odds of getting something.
Also open today was Northern Fancy:
                Northern Fancy.JPG
It is a dormant type, but last year it was semi-evergreen in my garden. A bonus plant, it does have a nice edge and it reblooms.
Of the seedlings open, the very best was Gillian x Thomas Tew:
                Gillian x Thomas Tew.JPG
This is from a seed from Diane Lindsey in Utah. She tends to be a little pricey, only sells in lots of 3 seeds; but this is 6", reblooms heavily, and the scapes are very thick and strong and tall.

That is an odd eye pattern on Swashbuckler Bay Boy:smile:. Armin Eder, who made the cross on his 0009/05, describes it as orange cream, but I have another flower open today on it, and every time I see it, it is definately a light brown - a difference most likely due to the soil. I have his Ti Amo Te, and mine is more purple than his.

I almost used Palace Garden Beauty, but I want to play around with the blue eyes some of these have (Blue Spring has a pod on it).
2 flowers on Spacecoast Sea Shells today, but they are both normal.

One of my oldest seedlings first bloomed this year on April 28th:
                        Streaky (2).JPG
My garden name for it is Streaky, for the obvious reason. All the flowers in the first flush share this trait, and the streaks move around. Then it takes the summer off, and now it has started reblooming:
                        Streaky.JPG
Gone are the streaks, but now it is a pinched crispate form with a red halo. Every year this happens. Only 4.5 " across, it isn't the biggest, but it is the strangest.
