We should start a program of scumbag exchange. For every one of our lot that have proved they are not worthy to live in a civilised society we should offer a direct exchange with a country where life is a constant struggle.

I saw a program last week where young kids have to work an 18 hour day sorting thru rubbish for pennies just to survive.

I'm sure any one of those kids would jump at the chance to change places with our scumbags. We do a direct swap & then strip our scumbag of British Citizenship so they would have to work or die.

What would happen if one of those young kids came over here and burnt one of our dogs? That is quite within the bounds of possibility; I remember seeing a burnt out cat corpse on the pavement in an impoverished Peruvian town, probably killed by exactly the sort of young people you had in mind. It is the sort of thing you are far more likely to find when people are living dirt-poor, ignorant, oppressed and brutalised lives. Further mindless violence under the heading of "justifiable revenge" is hardly a solution.

But thanks, Ziggy, for coming up with a constructive and non-aggressive suggestion about what to do with scumbags. Of course, if we could swap ours with hard-working, socially responsible and community-minded persons from impoverished countries then that would be a fine thing for us - but a bad bargain for everyone else.

But they would have seen what we do to people who do that sort of thing, don't think they'd risk being sent back.

But it isn't the *same* level though, is it: the perpetrators were presumably doing this for 'sport'; if someone gave them a taste of their own medicine, it would not be for 'sport'.

And in the second part, again, the perpetrators performed their act under the heading of "mindless violence"; if someone gave them a taste of their own medicine, it's because they have put *thought* into it.

The motivations of the two situations are completely different; so they could never be the same level.

It took me a while to think about it but i agree, i would not want to live in a country that burns people for punishment of animal cruelty, bang them up for 10 years yea fine

No, they aren't the same level, one is the crime and the other is the punishment!!! All justice is a form of revenge but it is right and it is appropriate!!
The most civilised people are the ones who are shocked to the core at the sight of these dogs and want the perpetrators dealt with in such a manner that hopefully it will not be repeated and will also serve as a lesson to anyone else who is like-minded!!!
"Madahhlia" you have this the wrong way round, we are not the bad guys we are the good guys who are prepared to stand up and say we will not tolerate this sickening cruelty.

My other idea is to just burn their finger for a second or two, so they realise how much it hurts, then douse them in lighter fuel and stand there with a zippo in my hand just long enough for them to experience the terror of what could happen next.

Then ask them how glad they are that I wouldn't stoop to their level.

                  No, don't do that Pete.

I'm tempted to lock this thread now as we're only upsetting ourselves and I think we all feel discusted by what scumbags can do and get away with.

So any final comments before I do, speak now or forever hold you peace.
