Popped to a carboot sale today; not managed to get to many this year, and to be honest there were many plants for sale, but I did stumble across one stall with a few plants. Included were 3 Heucheras, in 1 litre pots, almost garden centre quality, there were no prices on them and when I asked I nearly choked on my 99er :heehee:......."50p each or you can have all 3 for £1 as its the end of the summer" :yikes: ......I didn't need asking again, "I'll take all 3 then" :dancy::biggrin:

Not sure on the exact variety but they have purple leaves with like a white/silvery frosting on the top of the leaves..:)

I only read about Heucheras yesterday when I was leafing through some of the forum topics; they sounded so good, I did a quick search. By Jove, Bilbo, you have got yourself one heck of a bargain there!!!! :dbgrtmb:

There was what looked like a Yucca in a skip where they are refitting some offices on Friday - I would have had it out & home on the train on the principle that you should never chuck a good plant away, but the workmen were all sitting around having a cigarette at the time + I was already lugging a heavy roll of membrane home. Might wander by later & see if its still there though.
