Many of us always growing vegetables from seeds , but has anyone ever gave a second life to a supermarket vegetables?
Can`t find the old pictures and didn`t do a lot this year , but this is how you give a second life to a veg.
Celery , keep the core and put in water ...will root again and be ready in few months.

a simple cabbage core , will regrow in 8/9 weeks

and what about a little compost pot on your window where to toss all the seed and herbs left over?

If it wasn't for the bl**dy snails and slugs eating everything (and I am so fed up with them) yes I did try " growing again the salad bought in trays.

Some people just let them rot, photograph them and call it 'art':

Lots of amazing pics to be found using vegetable afterlife art for an image search. Some of the macro shots are stunning.

Miraflores , I`ve spent a fortune with snails , even more then the actual plant was worth , just try beer trap , I ve been amazed and disgusted at the same time , it work with small and big snail ......just give a try , trust me in this.

Scrungee , that`s not vegetable second life , it`s the end of a vegatable life :dbgrtmb:
scary if we think that air is full of mould and fungus ready to grow on dead flora and fauna.
