A rat :runforhills: , one house I lived in they where in the cavity walls (old 1930's house) , then finally got into the loft/roof . They would leap over the rafters into the early hours, plus scratching on the ceiling above my bed :hate-shocked: before I actually caught one I dreamt I had little people living in their. From what the pest man told me most of the area I lived in most houses had them but didnt realise.

Ah, now this reminds me of going back many years ago in Buckinghamshire. We lived in an old (300 years give or take) cottage in a village between Aylesbury and Thame and could constantly hear scramblings in the loft and between the floorboards but could never find anything. We contacted the Council as 'vermin control' is / was covered on your rates. They determined we had Glis-Glis living with us and eradicated them (shame as they are so cute) ...

you are right there wiseoldowl. Pc down, gardenerscorner down, website hosting or domain host down, really drive me mad...

My domain host "Godaddy.com" was down for about a week and that meant that I am still waiting for that first page of my newly registered website to be visible.
The process usually takes one or two days, it can exceptionally take three days.
But this time it is taking over one week...

                Ooh,I have a list

                Heights
                Confined spaces
                Deep water (ocean deep)

Heights never used to bother me, but I am scared shi...... Of them, always been scared of confined spaces and deep water though.

Well, critters don't really scare me or freak me out, but..
for as far back as I remember I get the yikes at holes in cheese :runforhills:
To great amusement of my folks and "co-eaters" I cut the holes out square  (cat gets the hole) and THEN the cheese is allowed on my plate and on my sandwich :)
I also dont like heights...not that I'm afraid of falling down..nohohoo..I'm afraid my shoes will fall off :doh:I can be wearing boots or hightops, slippers or heels.. they might just miraculously drop off my feet and into the deep
Think I should go see a shrink?

Oh, luckyluna, my cats would NOT like the holes in the cheese, they HAVE to have the cheese.

I think you should need to see a shrink also ... :heehee:

Don't come for a walk with me n the dogs then :snork: These is our friend Boris the Aberdeen Angus bullock. He and his 20 or so mates share the field I walk the dogs through. He'll come up for a face scratch cos he's very friendly :wub2:

In the field next to them there's a herd of about 40 or so cows, which are much more timid so we can't get close to them. Sometimes they commune with the bullocks over the fence.

remember to keep your dogs on leads when walking through fields of cows. One woman didnt and she was trampled to death. I cant remember where it was, but it was local to me (Norfolk) and it was only a couple of years ago

It was Cardiff as well, a lady I worked with I spoke to her Friday and then found out the worse Monday , the dog was fine , so never walk through any cattle with a dog just not worth it.
