The photos were taken half a mile from the house. You'd have to have bloody good eyesight to spot a gap in the shrubbery from that distance.

They are like any ordinary young couple enjoying a holiday. Just because they perform public duties does not mean they don't have a right to privacy. This is a particularly sensitive area for Wills given what happened to his mother in France so I'm not surprised he's reacted the way he has. He also wants to protect his wife.

The pap who took them and sold them is scum and given that France has strict privacy laws, they should be prosecuted, as should the rag that published them. However, apparently it's a common occurrence for the laws to be flouted because the fines are generally quite small in comparison to the extra income generated.

If they are serious about privacy laws then they should reflect that in the punishment.

Unfortunately those pics are now public for eternity.

 

Stripping off will now be something she can only do indoors, as soon as she steps outside a camera will find her!!! She will just have to accept that unfortunately.

I think it's a disgrace, she is part of the royal family not some two bit wanna be parading around in a beach toples. I hope they manage to sue. At least the British press refused to buy the photos and print them.

But I agree. I don't see what all the fuss is about. I wouldn't even bother taking legal action if I was Kate or Bill. At the end of the day, she knows she did nowt wrong. From what I gather she was discreet. If someone else chooses to make money from perving, surely that's for them to reconcile with their conscience.

I haven't seen the pics yet, but surely, knowing she has done nothing wrong, should she be so ashamed of her body that she wastes her own mental energy fighting someone who perved from a distance? If photos of my willy started doing the rounds, to be honest I wouldn't care one little bit as long as I knew I hadn't waved it in public.

 

I'm certainly no Royalist, but I wish they would just leave them alone. Was it that long ago when another certain princess was hounded, with tragic consequences?

I seem to remember not knowing who she was till Miraflores told me some years back.

 

I very much doubt that she's ashamed of her body but that isn't the issue anyway. The issue is personal privacy. You may not care if your private parts were featuring in the world's newspapers (though you might if someone else was planning to make a stack of money out of it) but that doesn't make it right that it happened to someone else.

She thought she was in a private space but in reality her every move was being watched and recorded so that she could be used for profit. I would imagine she's replayed the scene endlessly in her mind checking over what might have been seen. If someone had been filming what went on inside your home with an unsuspected telescopic lens could you really be so cool about it?
