    Going down to 7c in Battle tonight they reckon. Been lovely all day though, 50 /50 cloud sun now but bright and clear. I can see a change of Duvet Tog waiting in the wings,

    7 degrees, lucky you Jenny :heehee:, we've had several nights that have dropped as low 4.9 in the last couple of weeks...single figures again tonight I think, the sky is clear and the wind dropping; which I might add has been very strong here again today...:biggrin:

    I'd like to think so Jenny but if we get the forecast 2 degrees its getting pretty close :rolleyespink:......some parts of northern england and the midlands I believe had a light frost a couple of weeks ago, I seem to remember the weatherman on BBC saying people were scraping ice off their windscreens in certain areas...:hate-shocked:

    We're still battling drought :sad:. It hasn't rained for weeks and none forecast this week! A lot of the plants are quite droopy and the sprinkler is going for quite a bit of each day.

    It dropped to 43F (approx 7C) during the night but is up to nearly 50 already. Overcast with no air movement at all.

    Tonight's forecast from the BBC;

    "Showers for a time but becoming dry overnight with skies clearing and winds dropping light. Turning very cold with a local grass frost likely in rural areas by morning." :hate-shocked:

    Oh lordy, it really must be getting that time of year :heehee: , better start getting the greenhouse ready for all the plants I've got to cram in it :snork:

    Watery sun, no wind and quite pleasant. Barometer still maintaining a fine day hasn't shifted for a few days. We do need some rain as plants (esp. hydrangeas) are looking droopy,

    Been raining all day so far, drizzle/light rain, temperature hasn't changed from 5am this morning; 11.1 degrees...........although it does feel warmer than the last few days because the strong wind we've had all week has gone today :)

    Well it carried on raining yesterday until about 5pm and the temperature never got any higher than 12 degrees.

    As the sky cleared just as it went dark the temperature; as forecast, has dropped overnight, it's currently just 3.6 degrees here...brrrrrrrr and it usually drops a touch more towards dawn, it's going to be close to the forecast 2 degrees :rolleyespink:

    JEEZ Bilbo.That's not nice. Gonna be a long costly Winter if it really has already begun. Is that to do with the Northern snow melt? Anyway, its wall to wall blue with a sharp east breeze.9c outside front door (north east facing)
