      Sounds lovely!

I had family round for a good old catch-up - really lovely day here, so my mum got some nice photos in the garden to go home with. :)

Sounds wonderful Scotkat :dbgrtmb: I wouldn't have been able to join in with any hill walking, a brood mare trod on my toe yesterday :rolleyespink:

Aw, it's great having a family get together, fc; glad your mum was able to get some good photo's to take home.

Aside from a bit of pottering/hobbling around, most of my day was spent admiring my new manger trough :wub2:

              Hiya Scotcat.

I nearly went to Braemar once, but was put off by the midges. From what I gather, it's good walking country:) Any pics? What did I do today? I waited in ALL day for someone that didn't show up:mad:

Yup, my point exactly! When I say I'm going to visit, I make every effort to turn up, and ON TIME!

Sadly, some forms of etiquette have lost their meaning for some people. It is such a pity your time was wasted in the waiting; still, that is a reflection on *them* and not *you* :dbgrtmb: Notch it up to experience and wisdom, because I'm sure you won't make the same mistake where that person is concerned.

Hmmm, difficult one ... still notch it up to experience; as my mum always said: "Man can't put in what God left out" :nonofinger:

Perhaps a polite word? A gentle reminder that time is precious? :noidea:

Sounds wonderful Kat. Sadly it can get a bit cold on top.

                  Did it snow?
