Maybe room for another in the first place you thought you wanted it?

:roflol: I think Mr Mum would pack his bags for the funny farm if I gave him another one to assemble! I blame his mother, she really should have bought him a mechano set when he was a child

Been out and measured all the plants, so I have a record of how high they grown and what to plant at Front/Back of borders. All Dahlias, Cannas, that sort of thing (well ... being rather OCD I measured everything else too, so I have a record of how quickly they have grown - hedges, perennials, that sort of thing ...)

Also making a record of where the tender plants are, and how much "frost" they will take, so I know what to rescue into "in-doors" when the bad weather comes. Need to make a diary date to do this 1st September, as UpNorth the frost has already arrived ... and in another year that could happen DownSouth too.

I'm letting the garden run itself for the time being. So, apart from dead heading, I'm watching the leaves start to yellow and fall, and waiting until November when I clear the debris from the borders and paths, and try to decide where to plant the 200 Tulips I somehow managed to buy despite saying to myself "no more space to plant them!!":coffee:

I'm doing similar to Kristen. Checking up on all my plants - but doing it a bit easier. I don't measure anything or write it down. I just remember whether they're in the front garden or back garden and try and remember whether they need moving! :)

We've started clearing out years of debris from under shrubs, bushes and trees. So far we've filled over 60 x 70litre compost bags and not made much of an impression.

When I say 'we' it doesn't include me :heehee:. I don't do bending! I decide whether to put them on the compost heaps, the bonfire or if they go to the council's green waste - and put them there.

Been looking through the garden catalogues, at all the pretty pictures. On my wish list is a Persimmon Tree. I am working on the OH, made his favourite dinner today, and made copius cups of tea, making rock cakes tomorrow.... I'll have like putty in my fingers by the end of week. If that does not work, I'll buy it anyway !!

I'd wear it...... at home with the other half. I think my children would have me put away..Not a bad idea.
