:heehee: Crug has great plants, I expect that one was fully grown - many of their'#s are big'uns. They normally sell for £30 or so, in 5L pots. I bought mine off eBay (there is a Cornish [I think] nursery that specialises in more unusual things and they sell a few by the Ebay side-door). Mine is the "Needham" variety - very exaggerate leaf lobes.

None of mine germinated this year, but all my mates (from same supplier) did, so should be straightforward. You need fresh seed though, I think, so buying & sowing now, rather than waiting, might be best.

Should be hard-as-nails. But before you buy: you might prefer the Spider's Web (leaves are mottled with white, but vary from season to season - sometimes almost 100% white - so its not down to specific plant, per se, so don't be worried if a new plant doesn't look "of the type"). Spiders Web becoming more widely available at Garden centres now - Hilliers are selling it. (Readily available via mail-order of course)

You received a very good specimen. I often find mail order plants are small, dehydrated and a bit battered but that looks healthy and great.
